Monday Mini Food Artist: Miss Millificent's Miniatures
This week's Featured Mini Food Artist is Athena of Miss Millificent's Miniatures!
From her shop profile: I began making miniature food jewelry in the summer of 2009, after I had to leave my job as a cake decorator (carpal tunnel). I found that it was instant fun making tiny cakes, cupcakes, pies and cookies, and I'm continually searching out and studying real food to create in miniature.
I began making dollhouse minis in 2010. Although I make miniature cakes, I particularly like focusing on Southern foods.
She is also a mixed media artist, photographer, and dollmaker that shows and exhibits in galleries.

September Miniature Food Jewelry Challenge: State Fair!
It's September 1st, and it's time for another challenge- State Fair! All across the U.S., autumn means state and county fairs- agricultural and quilt displays, farm animals are paraded and judged, and oodles of fun food is sold in the midway. What's your favorite fair food? Fried Twinkies? Funnel cakes? Sausage and peppers? There's plenty of food to choose from for this challenge!
And now, for the rules:
1. Members have until September 29th to make their state/county fair food jewelry and/or accessories.
2. Please tag your creation with "9mfjechallenge" when you list it in your shop.
3. On the 30th of September, the challenge results will be revealed here on the blog.
